elliemay12 · As a Louisianian, I am sad to see this fake turducken...first off it is supposed to be TurDuckHen...chicken (hen) stuffed with (cornbread) stuffing inside of a duck (which is stuffed with a different type of stuffing--oyster) inside of a turkey which is also stuffed with another stuffing...crawfish. The stuffings can vary, but ya gotta have the "holy trinity" of meats. And I'm not sure what is up with the bacon, but hey...anything with bacon is good...right?
Also when can I try the Rôti Sans Pareil? From wikipedia:
The largest recorded nested bird roast is 17 birds, attributed to a royal feast in France in the early 19th century (originally called a Rôti Sans Pareil, or "Roast without equal") - a bustard stuffed with a turkey, a goose, a pheasant, a chicken, a duck, a guinea fowl, a teal, a woodcock, a partridge, a plover, a lapwing, a quail, a thrush, a lark, an Ortolan Bunting and a Garden Warbler. The final bird is small enough that it can be stuffed with a single olive
but possibly yummy.
