We've been asking ourselves that question a lot lately. We've been out of beta for about six months now, and we've learned some things about the ways we all tend to use FoodProof. For one thing, we can do a better job of showing you new cool stuff to look at. Lots of people come to the site through big photos like the Bacon Roll (which over 475k people have seen!) or long blog posts like Chris's Tool Talk, but they leave soon after, because there's nothing sort of punchy and immediate for them ...

Hello again. You've probably figured it by now, but there are some new things going on around FoodProof. For one, we're running proper ads now. Whoa. The BlogHer network seems like a pretty nice place to be. Lots of friendly people, and they seem to understand what bloggers are after. We'd love your help in getting the technical kinks worked out! If you are seeing weird looking ads, floating ads, annoying ads, etc, please let us know. We're really concerned with not letting the ads distract us ...

Hello again. Been a few weeks, we know, but we've got some cool new stuff happening on the site. We're pushing hard towards a public launch in early June, so get ready! The big new thing today is forums. They are pretty cool (we think). Right now, there are two forums: one for general discussion, and one for site bugs and feature suggestions. Pretty soon, we'll be releasing a Groups feature, and when that happens, anyone will be able to start a forum of their own to discuss whatever they want. ...

We are receiving your bug reports, thank you so much. Lots of action going on right now, we had some initial bugs in the sign up process, I *think* this has been ironed out ... at least I hope so.
