Public Launch, Here We Come!

Afternoon folks. As you can probably tell, we've released some changes to the site today. In fact, for every change you can actually see on the site, we've made another five changes behind the scenes, as we gear up for the public release of FoodProof next month!

The homepage is noticeably different, and we're going to start using it to highlight people in the community that we think are posting great stuff. We'll also be showcasing featured blogs, photos, videos, and recipes from other folks in the food-blog world that we like. We've also added a ton of little design changes around the site to make it more fun to use, as well as a bunch of bug fixes that folks have been sending into us (thanks!). And underneath it all is a new and faster framework that should make your experience here even smoother.

It's been a long time coming, but we think we're just about ready to go live, and we've got to thank every one of you guys for the work you've been doing to make this place great since we opened our (beta) doors a few months ago. As we approach the public launch date, we'll be sending out some notifications, soliciting blogs, videos, etc, so we can put our best foot forward once the rest of the Internet gets a look at what we've been up to. Be on the look-out for those notifications, and thanks again for hanging out with us!
