Harvest Time
Hello again. Busy as ever here at FoodProof, working on new features and new ideas. We're also trying to get into the autumnal spirit with some subtle graphical changes around the site. Here's the cool stuff that just got added:
Links Section: We thought it would be a fun thing to have a place where people can make links back to their home blogs, or to other bloggers they like, or to any other food-related ideas around the web. Check it out, and add a link to your favorite food site!
Video Embeds: We've opened up the videos section to use "embed codes", which are those HTML snippets you get on sites like YouTube and Vimeo and so on, that let you include a video in another web page. Try adding a video or two!
Performance: We decided to spend some time making sure our site loads quickly and smoothly. We think we've made some improvements along those lines, and hope that things feel snappier for you.
Design Changes: We figured we have way too many nice photos around here to keep them all tiny, so we've upped the sizes almost everywhere. There're lots of other smaller changes to the way things are laid out that we hope you're into. We like them, anyway, but let us know what you think!
Those are the three big ones, but snoop around and I'm sure you'll find other smaller things (not that you'll necessarily care to!). Anyway, it's all a part of our work to make FoodProof a colorful and fun place to hang out at. See you soon!
