[fp] Goes Beta!

What is up!? We've been hitting the site pretty hard lately, taking your suggestions and bug reports and coming up with some of our own. And here we are: FoodProof is officially Beta!

Here are some of the biggest feature highlights:

• Full user profiles with bio info
• User Icons and User Photos can be uploaded through your profile
• Rich text editor for blogs and recipes and so on
• The Pantry now features "Quick Links" and "Fast Facts". They're dope.
• Comments are now threaded and cool.
• We've simplified a lot of the content creation workflows. Everything now needs to be published before anyone else will see what you've written.
• Big search improvements
• Recipe creation is way nicer and more intuitive
• The homepage is actually useful now!
• Just tons more, we're serious.

What's more, now that we're beta, we're opening up invitations! Expect to see some new faces around here soon, and keep an eye on your user box in the upper right hand corner. We'll be passing out invites gradually over the next few weeks so invite good people!
