Changes!
Hello again. You've probably figured it by now, but there are some new things going on around FoodProof.
For one, we're running proper ads now. Whoa. The BlogHer network seems like a pretty nice place to be. Lots of friendly people, and they seem to understand what bloggers are after. We'd love your help in getting the technical kinks worked out! If you are seeing weird looking ads, floating ads, annoying ads, etc, please let us know. We're really concerned with not letting the ads distract us from what is really important around here (nom nom nom).
Beyond that, we've cleaned up the interface a lot. The right menu is now thinner and cleaner. Individual content navigation controls are now where they probably belong: directly above the main content zone. Do let us know what you think of these tweaks.
It's been just over a month since we went live, and we've had over 150 new people join in that time. We've seen over 300,000 people stop by to check out the 100 Things to Eat Before You Die blog post, and more and more folks are finding us through Google and through other food blogs.
But we're still working hard to get the word out about FoodProof! If you have friends that you think would be interested in the site, let them know about it! If you have hook-ups with print or web publications, get in touch with us!
We're also excited to offer a mini-packet of mini-cards to anyone who would like to help spread the word about FoodProof on the street. A bunch of us carry these with us already, and they're easy to hand out to folks at parties and restaurants. Check out the related image below, and let us know if you'd like to receive some of these cards in the mail!
That's it for now. Thanks for hanging out at FoodProof.
